Paper Submission and Publication

Prospective authors are invited to submit a full-length paper for oral presentation at the Workshop. The material submitted for presentation at the workshop must be original, not published or being considered elsewhere. Papers must be submitted via the “Submission” menu of the SOHOMA Latin America 2020 website, on any of the above topics or for the Special Sessions defined for the workshop listed below.  The working language is English. Papers are limited to 12 pages edited in the format of the Springer book series “Studies in Computational Intelligence”, according to the instructions for authors available at:

All papers accepted for presentation will be included in an electronic preprints volume and distributed to the participants at the conference time. The chairs will propose the presented papers at the Workshop to be included into Springer series in computational intelligence, ISI and DBLP Computer Science database indexed. In addition, a selected set of papers will be directed to the journal: "Ingenieria y Universidad. Engineering for Development", in order to be evaluated and published subject to evaluation.   The selection will be based upon the quality of the paper and the oral presentation, novelty, originality and technical soundness.
