Registration Guidelines

You can register to SOHOMA Latin america 2020 following the instructions given below:

 

For each accepted paper, one author must register, pay the registration fee and present personally the paper at the conference.  Please note that the inclusion of the paper presentation in the conference program and the publication of the paper in the conference proceedings are subject to the registration and payment of at least one of the authors.

LA - SOHOMA Registration Fees

The registration fees are considering the participation to the conference to held in Bogota. In the case that the contributor prefers to participate online to the conference,  the registration will have a discounted fee. 

* Students must provide a valid university ID.

Note: The fee will be charged in the Colombian Currency (COP)

An author with two accepted papers that present both on the workshop is entitled to pay only one registration fee. 

Over-length page fee: US$ 50  per page in excess of the 12-page allowance

What is it included with the registration fee?

Regular (academic staff) and Company registrants: the registration fee includes access to SOHOMA Latina America 2020 technical sessions, Springer Book Proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches and Gala dinner.

Ph.D.  and Masters student registrants: If at the time of registration the registrant is a Ph.D. student at a certified academic institution, she/he may register at student rate. The registrant will be required to provide evidence of full-time Ph.D. student status. This registration fee includes access to SOHOMA’19 technical sessions, Springer Book Proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches and Gala dinner.

Cancellations

Cancellations are allowed after registration payments according to the following policy:

  • Cancelation notice should be sent to SOHOMA Latin America 2020 organizers   (j-jimenez@javeriana.edu.co), and it should be provided the initial proof of payment.

  • Any cancelation will be charged a US$ 50 handling fee.

  • If cancelation occurs within four (4) weeks after payment, refund will be of 70% of the paid fee (after subtracting the handling fees). The refund will be credited back according to the University Javeriana Procedures.

  • Paper upload fees and additional page in proceedings fees cannot be canceled.
