The manuscript submitted for presentation at the workshop must be original, not published or being considered elsewhere. The working language is English. Papers are limited to 12 pages formatted for the Springer book series “Studies in Computational Intelligence” according to the instructions at Papers may be submitted in Word or Latex format, and the Springer templates can be downloaded at:

All papers accepted for presentation will be included in an electronic preprints volume and distributed to the participants at the conference.  Papers presented at the Workshop will proposed the presented papers to be included in the SOHOMA LatinAmerica 2020 post conference proceedings, ISI and DBLP Computer Science database indexed, and proposed to be published in the Springer series “Studies in Computational Intelligence”. A selected set of papers presented will be asked to provide an extended version to be proposed for publication in a issue of one journal representative for the workshop’s domain. The selection will be based upon the quality of the papers edited in the Springer proceedings, the quality of the oral presentations and the novelty, original contributions and technical soundness of the work. These extended papers will be blind-reviewed, which does not mean their automatic acceptance.

Special Sessions 

Researchers, practitioners and scientist are invited to propose “Special Sessions” on subjects from SOHOMA Latin america 2020 workshop research. A Special Session shall be proposed and organized by 3 or 4 scientists, and will include 4-5 papers submitted by members of professional groups, scientific communities and project teams with similar Research interests. Proposals for Special Sessions can be submitted by e-mail to the responsible at using the following template:
